AGM – (All Good Meeting!!!)

The lovely bunch in the photo above got together in the Wickham (Binsted Village Hall) for the Fete AGM on the 18th November 2021.

COVID fears kept a few of our older Parish residents away, which was a shame. We had a lively meeting helped by the wine and nibbles on offer. You can read the full minutes of the AGM by clicking on the button below. The highlights were:-

Binsted Fete has been set for Saturday the 2nd July 2022 – put it in the diary now!

We discussed the timing – it was felt that having the Fete before the school summer holidays was the most important factor.

We would like input from the Parish for help with the Growing Categories – what do you think will be ready to display on the 2nd July?

We would like to encourage requests for donations for local charities and good causes – email

For there to be an evening event at the 2022 Fete we would need a team of at least 5 people willing to plan and lead this – if you are keen please email

The Theme for 2022 is Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee

Do you know your Dahlias from your Daffodils? Your Roses from your Rosehips?

Click on the button above to download the schedule from 2021 – please take a look over it, and let the team know if you think some categories are no longer suitable for the time of year of the Show.

email or use the form below with any ideas for the growing (or any other sections).

Thank you to all of you who took part in the 2020 Event, our first ever

Binsted ‘Virtual’ Flower, Produce, Photography & Dog Show

2020 would have been the 112th occurrence of the Fete & Flower Show, it has gone down as the 112th & 1st Virtual Fete!

Binsted Fete is a fun mix of tradition with smattering of the modern, all within a beautiful Hampshire village setting

Welcome to the Binsted Fete website. It took us 111 years to ‘go digital’ and it was just in time!

In 2018 and 2019 Binsted kicked off the local round of events, the neighbouring villages of Bentley and Froyle also host their own Fetes, making July a great month to visit our area.

2020 saw the running of the 112th Binsted Fete as a fully Virtual Event. It was a great success, gathering 95 Flower and Craft entries, 40 Dog show entries, and 50 beautiful photos entered into the Photography competition.

Binsted Fete is proud to involve a wide area from the Parish, not only Binsted Village, but Frith End, Bucks Horn Oak, Kingsley, Wyck, and Isington

Binsted Fete is a fun day out, run by volunteers from around the Parish.

We are always looking for new people and new ideas – if you would like to get involved email

    Meet the Team

The Wickham Institute (Binsted Village Hall)

    Holy Cross Church, Binsted

    B.E.N. (Binsted Environment Network)

    Binsted Footpath Clearers Association

    Binsted Cricket Club

    Local Guiding and Scouting groups

    Hampshire Air Ambulance

    Home Start Charity

    Headway Charity

In addition the Fete has formed a small fund to support local people. This could be accessed to provide help paying for school trips, unexpected costs, or other needs. If you, or your neighbour is in need please contact us here ….

We will be adding other history of the Fete to this site – you can find it on the INFO / History page in the main menu. Here we will also be adding a function for you to submit your memories and photos from Fete’s gone by. In the meantime please email – we would love to hear from you. Thanks!
