Join us for the 114th Binsted Fete, Flower & Dog Show on Saturday 2nd July 2022

1-4pm, Binsted Recreation Ground, GU34 4PB

Binsted is very proud of it’s fun, family friendly traditional village fete. We have something for everyone to enjoy – teas and tombolas, raffles and pony rides, bar and bbq, bouncy castles and book stalls.

A large part of our fete is our Flower, Produce, Craft and Photography competitions which allows you to show off your creative skills in the garden, kitchen, workroom or darkroom (..ok we know no one uses a darkroom for photos anymore, but you know what we mean!). Of course, the four legged members of your family can show off too in our Fun Family Dog Show.

To see which of our many competition categories you’d like to enter, simply download the full schedule by clicking the button below…

Our village fete is run by a dedicated group of volunteers, but we can’t do it alone! If you are able to offer a couple of hours before, during or after the Fete to help set up, run a stall or clear up afterwards, we would love to hear from you! Please email to let us know what you’d like to get involved in.

The funds from the Binsted Fete goes towards helping local charities and organisations. In the past we have happily helped Holy Cross Church, The Wickham Institute, Friends of Binsted School, Binsted Environmental Network, Hampshire Air Ambulance, Home Start, Headway and many more…

We also have a Community Fun which local families and individuals can apply to for personal funding (please be assured we handle every request with complete confidentiality). To find out more, or to apply please email

Here is where the monies from the 2019 Fete and Evening event went to:-

    Binsted School

The Wickham Institute (Binsted Village Hall)

    Holy Cross Church, Binsted

    B.E.N. (Binsted Environment Network)

    Binsted Footpath Clearers Association

    Binsted Cricket Club

    Local Guiding and Scouting groups

    Hampshire Air Ambulance

    Home Start Charity

    Headway Charity

In addition the Fete has formed a small fund to support local people. This could be accessed to provide help paying for school trips, unexpected costs, or other needs. If you, or your neighbour is in need please contact us here ….

We will be adding other history of the Fete to this site – you can find it on the INFO / History page in the main menu. Here we will also be adding a function for you to submit your memories and photos from Fete’s gone by. In the meantime please email – we would love to hear from you. Thanks!
